Money is drawn to or repelled from you based on your attitude towards it. If you have positive thoughts about money you will draw money to you. If you have negative thoughts about money you will repel money away from you. Many different kinds of thoughts and feelings about money may seem to contradict this. But upon closer inspection, the true nature of your thoughts and feelings on money are revealed.
For example, you may say “I have nothing against money…I want and need money very badly. I would love to have the money I need, but I don’t.” Is desperate wanting and needing money a positive or negative attitude about money? It is negative – by holding a feeling and image of the lack of money in your life, you are asking the universe to perpetuate that reality – you are repelling money from you. Conversely, if you have a calm, confident feeling about money – and aren’t particularly worried about whether you have enough or not – this might seem that it wouldn’t attract money. But just like a confident, self-reliant person will attract many potential mates, so too will a confident, nonchalant attitude about money attract it.
Having a positive image in your mind about having everything you need and being grateful for what you have creates a good, warm feeling that allows more money to flow toward you. Any negative emotions surrounding money, even involving money belonging to others (and perhaps especially) will drive it away. Envy, greed, belief in scarcity of money or believing that money is somehow intrinsically evil are sure ways to make money flee from you. So be aware of your thoughts and feelings about money and focus on feelings of plenty, abundance and gratitude to maximize its attraction into your life.
